Again, Hon. Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri quest for resources to develop Jirapa Municipality is remarkable and unquestionable. Hon. Nicholas Soyiri together with his technical staff organized a community sensitization program for Mwankuuri-Chachaa and Duori-Degri to educate and inform them about the implementation of projects in their respective Communities.
The successful completion of the road will make it easer for people living around Mwankuuri-Chachaa enclave of the municipality to transport their farm products and quickly reach out to each other when the needs arises whiles the climate change project at Duori-Degri will generate income for the community and other unmeasurable environmental benefits.
Speaking at the event of community sensitization program, the Hon. MCE noted, the policy framework of the projects by the government is to enhance social safety nets that improve the incomes and productivity of the poor in the country and provide work especially during off-farm season and ensure that monies for equipment is rather paid to the poor in the community in return for their services.
He appealed to them, to accord his office and the contractor the needed support to successfully complete the project timely and in the future show appreciation to his office and the NPP government.
In the coming days, the Hon. MCE is expected to return to these communities with contractors for site handing over and commencement of work.
