Process started with opening and sorting of bid documents in the presence of all bidders. Below are the list of projects the was opened for tender and bid for by various bidders.
1. Lot 1 Expansion of health center with 1No 10bed capacity ward hospital beds at TUGGO in JIRAPA municipality
2. Lot 2: Construction of 1No health post with 4no tables, 8no chairs and 4no visitors bench at tizza Mwofo
3. Lot 3: Rehabilitation of 1No Health Center at Douri
4. Lot 4: construction of 2no 2unit crèche with furniture, 4 seater KVIP and 1No urinal pit at somboro and poduori
5. Lot 5: construction of 2no 2unit crèche with furniture, 4 seater kvip and 1No urinal pit at Ulgozu and sietori
6. Lot 6: Construction of 1No 5 unit lockable market stores with 12unit market stalls and 4 seater kvip at Sabuli
7. Lot 7: construction of 1No 120 seater capacity lecture hall with office and washroom, 120no single seater chair with writing slabs at community health nursing college Nimbare
8. Lot 8: Construction and fencing of JIRAPA naayiri durbar grounds
9. Lot 9: siting, drilling and installation of 1No borehole fitted with hand pump at tizza mwofo and citing drilling and mechanization of 1No borehole at Hain shs
10. Lot 10: Opening up of new road-Ganaa JHS to naayiri park (2km) and opening up of 31st December to JIRAPA Wa road (2km)
Bid opening process ended successfully at after almost three (3) hours of the bid opening process.
Mr Justice, Head of Procurement at the UWRCC indicated in his remarks that the process was overly free and fair as per the requirement of the procurement processes. Infact, he also acknowledged the fact that the process actually went a step ahead to interact and involve bidders to find out whether they were satisfied at every stage which was not actually required.
Babacos company, a bidder whose representative in his remarks indicated that the process was fair and clear without any hidden actions.
MCD in his remarks also indicated that, until the evaluation process is concluded, no bidder has lost or won the bid.
