Earlier this afternoon, the Municipal Chief Executive had a fruitful engagement with the leaders and some members of the Knights of St. John International, Jirapa.
The discussion was based on a matter of mutual interest that promotes the broader development of the Jirapa Municipality.
The society has, by mutual understanding, agreed to halt their ongoing chapel project located in the Jirapa Youth Centre area, and the structure will be demolished to pave the way for the construction of a 24-hour market for the municipality.
On behalf of President John Dramani Mahama and the good people of Jirapa, the Honourable MCE sincerely thanked the leaders and all members of the society for this shining example.
He indicated that with such great support, building a better Jirapa will not be too difficult.
